does anyone know when this is going to come out? also, will it be any better on ps3 than on ps2? i want to know if it is worth getting a ps3

Don't mind what they said. The PlayStation 3 as it comes is similarly equipped (better, depending on how you look at it) to Microsoft's XBox 360 Elite which is... Voila: $600.

Just compare the two to what you think would be better for you.

As for NCAA 08, I believe the best version will be available on the XBox 360. The PS3 is still new enough that it won't be getting the full game; think something like the watered-down crap that came out on the 360 last year. Although I have been told by multiple industry nerds that the best version may still be on PS2 and XBox.

Considering 360 is supposed to have everything the PS2 and XBOX have, it should be the best.

I don't think anyone was suggesting that he should spend $600 on a ps3 and I didn't see anyone suggest an Elite.

You should have left out that last sentence. :crazy:

Thats it. I won't get a new one until my ps2 is shot. I believe it is getting there though. When it happens, I will probably get a 3, not an xbox.

xbox is pretty cool with halo and gears of war, but i can't get used to an xbox controller for ncaa

i feel like xbox controllers are the best for halo and stuff, but that play station controllers are much better for ncaa

you guys might just convince me to get an xbox and play halo and gears of war online. can you play online for free with xbox like on ps2, or do you have to pay for xbox live with the headset and stuff

why don't they make it free like ps2. this is when xbox makes me mad. i also hate the fact that they won't let play station make halo

The whole xbox network is much better from what I understand. I think most would agree that it's well worth $4.00+ a month.
