I'm playing the Big 12 Championship with Texas in Campus Legend at the so called Alamodome, but it's an open air stadium with 2 upper decks only in the center. :eek:lol:

there was a 12mph wind in the Alamodome for my 2010 Big 12 championship between Texas and Iowa State.

I might actually like 07 better than 08. The passing game and the total number of turnovers is driving me nuts.

I must be getting lucky avoiding all the turnovers. My only beef with the game is the insane amount of pressure on certain plays.

i almost hate this game. Yeah the graphics are killer, but that is about it. on the ps3 version the menus lag when going through them, saving takes a while, picking your plays is uber gay because they guy you are playing can see it.

I am still going to play the hell out of it, just because there is no other game out there

as for the play calling thing, i didn't know until last week that you could pick your play, and hold the selection button down and keep scrolling through the plays and release the button whenever you are finished scrolling. It picks the play that you were on when you first hit the button, and if you are playing against a screen looker you can let go of the button when you are on a completely opposite play and totally screw them up.

One error I have noticed is that twice now I have recovered fumbles and the play was blown dead without the chance to return them. The guys that recovered the fumbles were never down, and both of the fumbles could have been run back for TDs. :no:

I've not had any problems with turnovers. But Idaho plays in an open air stadium when they play in the Kibbie Dome (similar to ETSU's Mini Dome)

I'm so pissed off at this game now... last night I played Florida and won 20-13, but it said it was saving and it didn't actually save my Dynasty. So I had to go play it again and was losing, but hanging in there in an offensive showcase... when I had to leave. The thing that pissed me off the most was that CB #36 (name?) had 3 INTs in the original game... totally 6 for the season and only in the 3rd game.

yeah the same thing happened to me. I guess I like the fact that you can now have multiple dynasties but it doesn't automatically save it the same way. I'm beginning to think I like 07 a lot better.

whoa....just played the SEC championship as Arkansas and I was against UGA. it goes into triple over time and I have the ball first in the 3rd OT. Get a TD and the 2 point conv. Then I'm back on offense, run one play and the game is over. UGA didn't even get the ball in the 3rd OT :blink:

Is anyone else here not getting their achievements?

  • I've won my conference championship (done this on a campus legend game which is one of the requirements)
  • kicked a 55 yd FG (done this on a play now game which is one of the requirements)
  • legend meter is full
I want my Achievements!! :realmad:

in both NCAA 2007 and 2008 I've never had a computer miss a field goal (unless it was blocked). :crazy:

The problem is that crappy XBox 360 version that you're using.

Delete EVERYTHING from NCAA on your HDD.

I didn't get my Conference Championship or Legend Meter Achievements either at first, someone told me to do the above & I just now won the SECCG again & got the Achievement.

Now I gotta fill the LM again. Not hard though. I did it in just a tad over one season last time.

I just played a game last night where I called a Time Out & it counted for the other team. A break for me.:)
