“I’m going to sit down with my offensive coordinator, Jasmine Vinson, later to (decide on) a couple games I really want to visit to, but Tennessee is one of them,” said Paylor, who’s ranked by 247Sports as the No. 35 overall prospect and No. 7 athlete in the 2024 class.

“They want to keep me in the slot,” said Paylor, who was timed at 10.70 seconds in the 100 meters earlier this year. “They see I have a strong foundation. The only thing with me: I have to be relaxed out of my breaks and everything like that. But just simple, rookie mistakes I need to fix coming into college and everything like that. But, pretty much, I’m a solid build for slot.

“I think what I love about Tennessee, about their offense, is they run a tempo offense, which we run at my high school. They spread the ball. They run spread with two slots and two (outside) receivers, which is the same concept we run at our school.”

“The location is really good for me, (and) to know that it’s big-time ball,” he said. “They’ll be playing, like, Alabama and teams like that and, for me, I love the exposure — to get to (play) bigger teams and everything like that. That’s pretty much it: the distance from home and the amount of competition I’ll be playing.”

The Vols are one of several teams he’s looking to visit again this season.

“I’ll be headed back to Clemson, South Carolina,” he said. “I’m going to try to hit up Georgia. I’m going to visit in-state schools, of course — UNC and N.C. State. I definitely want to go to a West Virginia game. I haven’t been there.”

How could any WR watch what Jalin Hyatt did on Saturday and NOT want to be a part of this offense? Saturday wasn't just a win. It wasn't just a great atmosphere. It was a showcase. It was Heupel's declaration to the world: "Look what I can do with Jeremy Pruitt's leftovers. Imagine what we can do once I get my players here. And YOU could be a part of that."

Is he a WR or more like a Cam Seldon type who can line up take carries out of the backfield?
In his highlights he lines up in the backfield, in the slot, is the punter, kick off specialist, kick returner, and DB. He has highlights doing them all at a high level. He reminds me a lot of Brandon James and Chris Rainey, or even Jeff Demps at Florida.
