'26 NC TE Kendre Harrison (Oregon commit)

Maybe but also he’s bigger and more athletic then any of them were outta high school, and wants to be dual sport. I also don’t think we pursue but I think it’s more based on Oregon being willing to go to any length to defend his commitment after we owned them with brame last year.
There’s also a cost benefit analysis here. After landing the two studs last year, and given that we haven’t shown a willingness to throw to the tight end a lot, is it really worth going all out to pay for this kid? The answer is probably no.

Wow. Thats surprising! Is he the camp phenom who we never see this year? Even Heup said he would be a big part of the offense. Or are we not showing him yet? Needs to get some run before Georgia if he is definitely going to be a big part of the offense.

Camp reports lol. Might as well ignore those.

Depends on your interpretation of “big part of the offense” and Heup’s. We talking 15 snaps per game? I would guess he’ll get PT this weekend but I wouldn’t go into UGA game thinking you’ll see him a lot. Kits and Davis will carry the load.

But also think it was said before JVD got banged up that they were more impressed with his physicality dating all the way back to spring ball or something like that.

Right. If it's close, they're going to play the TE who blocks better. And that's JVD's strength. Although he has a pretty athletic build.

I hope Davis brings his hands this time.

I was a little surprised as well. It is more than just "camp reports" when it comes to Brame. The coaches love his ability as a pass catcher. I think the gameplan and offensive scheme for Syracuse could have been a big reason why we saw the snap breakdown the way it was with the freshman TE's. JVD is definitely ahead of Brame as a blocker. We were basically using the TEs as a FB/H-Back on Saturday. That favors JVD. Brame is basically a large WR right now.

I wonder if we use Brame against Georgia as a large WR to beat press coverage.
