FYI what he said about it.
“The first one, it was just a mental error on my part,” Amerson said.

On Rogers’ big play, Amerson said “I was anticipating a little bit of help.”

Can't wait to see how many more good defensive backs we torch this year!! I know Hunter better stop worrying about his knee (really, it's ok!!) and start holding on the rock!! Good game tonight, quality win!! Hope there are quite a few more in store for this year. Looks Promising!!! Go Vols!!!

Awesome. If Amerson truly is as good as everyone says then no one will be able to stop the passing attack this year. It was ridiculous tonight

Its simple, he faced a future NFL QB throwing to 2 future NFL WR's.
It was posted earlier, we saved some NFL team a lot of money tonight. Amerson is not what he was billed to be.

Watching his little highlight video, he faced some very bad passing games last year. He has peanut shells all in his hair...lol

Dragging Amerson through the mud is akin to yelling over-rated at your opponent. He had a bad game. It happens. He's still a top-notch safety who will be starting on Sundays soon.

Ok, doesn't change my point.

How does it not? He was solely responsible to contain our wideouts. He failed. Every time. And on CP's end around, he took a correct angle, and didn't have the speed to catch him. He was exposed tonight. Period.

I know there haven't been a ton of games played this season so far, but I would have to say UT is the most impressive I've seen so far.
