I've visited the Pack sites as a silent lurker. Haven't been there lately as I don't have any reason to. I find most of the Pack posters supportive of their team and having confident expectations some here would insist is arrogant. Probably true but no more so than we are regarding our Vols. In short real fans. In very few (let me stress very few) cases did I see out and out arrogant statement like Pack-Owns-Vols-12.

The jumping head first into our site in full attack mode and making the statements seen here has me suspicious. It's little more than an effort to stir things up here and do it in a very immature manner. It bears a style I've seen here before. At the risk of being torn apart by certain of our own Vols fans, I'm making a claim. Pack-Owns-Vols-12 isn't a Wolfpack fan, Rather, Pack-Owns-Vols-12, is a Vols fan masquerading as a Pack fan. Only an ultimate troll stoops this low.

And on that note, I cease reading the thread. Why? because responses here only serve as frenzy fodder to motivate Pack players. Stuff gets posted in their site and finds it way to their locker room. Why bother handing them a potential gun to shoot us?

Man...I want the days back when you'd NEVER hear even a glimmer of hope from a Team like NC#2...

Folks went into games with us hoping not to get too embarrassed...I hope this is the year...

I am by no means a sunshine pumper, but barring injuries in camp, Tennessee should beat NC State pretty handily in 26 days. Im calling UT 38 NC State 17

I actually don't have much of a problem with this. Keep in mind, though, the advantage we have at WR is enormous.

Last year was last year for both teams. I think this game is a lot closer than VOL fans believe as we will be working out some kinks especially in the defense.

We are one blown Bray knee in a practice from watching the VOL world implode on this website.

I am looking as forward to this season as I was 2006, with the same hopes but also trepidation, I hope to see another VOL vs: Cal performance when we play NCSU, but I am and will be as nervous as a you know what in church.

Relax man, its not going to be this close. 17 points minimum. We can stand an injury or two (even at QB IMO) and still beat NCST. Please no injuries though, I cant take much more.

Stop kidding yourself. This will not be fun for your team. I can appreciate your enthusiasm as a fan, but reality is going to be a Mother in this game.
