NC State Coach Tom O'Brien had this to say today about the matchup in Atlanta - “Tennessee is an SEC school with a rich heritage and our players are already looking forward to the game. We know that our loyal fans will make sure that there is more red than orange in the dome that night.”

I would suggest for all those complaining the game is on ESPNU go to the game and prove O'Brien wrong. No I don't believe there will be more red than orange but I just can't imagine that he actually believes this.

Just booked my flight from RDU to Atlanta and then to Myrtle Beach for the long weekend. Can't wait to kick State's ass. It will be more satisfying that sitting courtside in Cameron watching Duke comeback from 20 down in the second half to beat them as I did tonight. Haha.

We've played on ESPNU 7 times in the last three years. This isn't new.

I almost went to State as an architecture student and to follow in the family footsteps. I cannot tell you how glad I am that I went to UT although state is a great school.

My dad also got a master's degree from the UT space institute so he has a duel allegiance, sortof. Football has never been his sport, being from NC basketball has always been his thing.

He was at NCSU for their '74 basketball national championship, and I was at UT for our 1998 football national championship. Maybe we are good luck! NCSU won another in '83 if memory serves, so there is still hope that in the not too distant future us Vol fans will be celebrating the reTurn to dominance.

Wow I can't believe its on ESPNU. Thats such disrespect. Its on a Friday! Its opening the College Football season! It should be on ESPN. ESPNU isn't on cable, and not many people watch ESPNU to begin with. I'm going to be very interested in wth is on ESPN and ESPN2 that night. Its not the biggest of deals but i'm still pretty damn pissed.

dunno what cable u have but here in Chattanooga on Comcast we have it regular and HD.
