NC State Game on Friday

The move makes sense. After Clemson's last game, the nation will turn in to watch Auburn do what WVU did. The nation isn't going to turn on NCSU. They don't even get top billing in NC.

How many NC State fans typically travel to see games at UNC, Wake Forest, and other conference foes?

By the way, I don't care what the NCS coach said--I'm just curious.

My family is all from NC and my father is a NCSTATE alum. We are going to the game. The good news is that the rest of my NC family is coming, and as they are all UNC fans they will be wearing orange as they hate red.

GO VOLS!

Tell the UNC Fans that I said 5 in a row from a State student.

Im sure their response like always will be "just wait til basketball season"

I cut cable and satellite loose a couple of years ago. I watch almost everything on the computer - ESPN 3. Not great but it ain't bad. That's how us po' folks do it.

UNC games probably anywhere from 5 to 10k

Wake Forest on the other hand State fans are nearly the majority because there are way more NC State grads than WF grads in NC

But only one from the General of Truth

I have no idea what he put cause hes on my ignore

I imagine its some knock at UT playing on Friday night , primetime, with a captive national audience in recruit rich territories

i don't know if you work in public relations, but you should.

if espn thought they could get a "captive national audience", the game wouldn't be played on a friday night on espnu.

I'm so upset about this. I Grew up going to State games and have been excited for this game for a few years. Now I can't go, because Fridays before a long wknd are blackout days at work...I can't be off that day.

Not going. I hate watching a game in that dome. Too far away from the field. Rather watch it on TV.

NC State Coach Tom O'Brien had this to say today about the matchup in Atlanta - “Tennessee is an SEC school with a rich heritage and our players are already looking forward to the game. We know that our loyal fans will make sure that there is more red than orange in the dome that night

I would suggest for all those complaining the game is on ESPNU go to the game and prove O'Brien wrong. No I don't believe there will be more red than orange but I just can't imagine that he actually believes this.

Could he have said anything stupider outside of attacking players?

I'm glad that the games are on back to back days rather than Thu/ Sat. This means I can go to both the TN game Fri and the Auburn game Sat.
