I am a student at NC State and have been a Tennessee fan my whole life as my dad is a UT Alum. My thoughts on the game:
Tennessee will win easily. States secondary is horrible with the exception of Amerson. Bray will pick apart the State defense and put up huge numbers. State will play with UT for the first half and then UT will take over as State is also a young team but not as talented.

Thoughts?

I would hope so but we seem to play horrible in the GA Dome

I don't think it will be all that close. Coming back out party for Bray/Hunter and a frustrated vols team.

Would be a nice time to get over the program-wide Georgia Dome mental block. NC State is absolutely horrible this year, not sure what they bring back next season but considering we're bringing back 19 starters and a much healthier team (hopefully), we really shouldn't have much of a problem winning this game by a good margin.

Horrible decision by O'Brien to let go of Russell Wilson btw. Not too many people around here are happy with O'Brien right now.

I honestly think this is our Alabama 2008 coming out party.

Going to be awesome. 2012 is our year boys...with the class Dooley is putting together he is pulling in talent that will help us win next year and beyond.

Yeah, but did you see the smack he talked about Carolina on the WTVD channel 11 news last night? NASTY!

It really, really could be a game where the analysts pick us to win and everything, but then during the game there will be a point when an announcer says something to the effect of, "These guys don't look very stoppable."

Glennon will be back at QB. I do believe he is an underrated QB as he has little talent surrounding him. Running game should be much improved with Mustafa Greene returning from injury. With that being said UT will still win handidly

NC State will be better next year. The problem this year is all the injuries on defense. They will most likely be healthy for the first game in 2012. Glennon should be good next year. And mustafa green will be healthy.

When these teams face off next year they will be quite a bit different than they are now. Both will be better but UT def has the edge. I'm guessing TN will be a 9 pt favorite

I would like nothing more than to see State beat Carolina tomorrow both as a State fan and Tennessee fan.

This year's hardships are creating a whole lotta anger, i look for them to go nuts next year. Taking no prisoners.

I would agree with this but I think State will surprise some people with all the trash talking UNC Interim Coach Withers has been doing.

Withers: Withers questions Wolfpack's 'academic environment' | CharlotteObserver.com & The Charlotte Observer Newspaper

O’Brien said. “Our people are doing a great job. At our school ... No. 1, all classes have a syllabus. Our guys go to school, they’re not given grades, and they graduate. It’s a little tougher here if you have to go to school, and you’re expected to have a syllabus and you’re expected to go to class.”

That was a response to Withers bragging about graduation rates and UNC academics, all while the NCAA is crawling around looking into tutors and other allegations. O'Brien was pissed. Besides O'Brien is 4-0 against UNC, he can talk a little (even if they are going to get demolished on Saturday!).

FWIW...I see alot of orange "T's" here in the Raleigh area.
