Love the optimism but its lacking in reality. This is the first year of a 2-3 year rebuild just to get back to being relevant in the SEC.
If Pruitt is the guy we should be rolling by year three. I think there will definitely be growing pains this first year, but in year two we should be much improved all around. 6, maybe 7 wins this season, followed by a pretty strong 2019 season.
Ok pretty strong, sure but I think it will take more than a year to be nationally competitive.
By year three, if all goes well... could be a big year.
And if this staffs what we think they are, and similar opportunities are presented as they were in 15, and 16, we should be able to take advantage...
I guess we're not that far away from each other, just different verbiage.,, so at that point it's semantics...To be clear I said this program should be relevant in the SEC in Pruitt's second season. By relevant I mean winning 8 or 9 regular season games and at least competing to win the division. But there really should be no reason why we're not a top program by year three if this group is the group that can get it done.

I look at like this.., could this staff win the fl, OU, and ark games in 15? Or the ATM, USCe, vandy games in 16? Assuming recruiting goes like we hope we could/should have teams that will have similar opportunities in 2-3 years.
So, what do we do when those present themselves? That's what will define this staff
