Mack Brown without Vince Young was not able to get much done at the easiest school in the country to recruit to. Even easier than USC, Alabama or Ohio State. What makes these kids think UNC is somehow gonna happen? He played Clemson tough in year one because of very little film to review of him at UNC. They beat USCjr and Miami, both were awful. It’s UNC football. C’mon man. Gimme a break.

I don't. The ease of plundering talent in North Carolina is vital to the health of the football program at UT. If UNC is good with a recruiter like Mack then our path is more difficult than it already is.

Any ambitious high school prodigy would prefer UT over UNC in football. UT simply offers more history, more passion, better preparation for the next level. Undoubtedly some kids will take playing for the home-state school even if our product is superior in every way. It's easier for them to stay with a guy like Mack running the ship and especially if he's having success on the field.
