He can only play where he’s at. Coaches job to evaluate.

His team was really good this year. East Surry beat Tarboro 56-28 in the big 1a championship game. Tarboro had won 44 straight and only giving up 41 points all year. He might be hard to get away from UNC. East Surry QB threw for about 4800 yards this year going to UNC and 2 of the WRs are going to UNC.

He’s a very good player, probably a little underrated in a really good class for NC. Not sure what impact Boaz and Gosnell going to UNC will play.

You went to the Mitchell game. Did he stand out in that game.

He had a good game, according to stats 11 tackles, 7 solo, 2 sacks. He’s got some talent but stands up too much like most kids that age. Maybe a frame to be a down DE. Would think we have guys higher on the board.

Visiting this 1/20

One of Tennessee's early defensive-line targets in the 2021 class is planning to visit the Vols again soon.

Three-star junior defensive lineman Isaac Washington of East Surry High School in Pilot Mountain, N.C., told GoVols247 that he's scheduled to return to Tennessee on Jan. 20 for his third visit with the Vols in less than six months.

The 6-foot-3, 266-pound Washington said he also will travel to N.C. State on Jan. 19 before making the trip to Tennessee the following day.

He received a scholarship offer from the Vols on July 30 during his first visit to Tennessee, and he returned there Oct. 26 to attend the Vols' home game against South Carolina.

Auburn, Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina and Virginia Tech also have extended early offers to him.

As for this weekend, we’re still putting a list together, but one of the headliners is North Carolina defensive lineman Isaac Washington. The 6-3, 270 pound tackle holds offers from UT, Auburn, Florida, Georgia, UNC and NC State, among others, but the Vols have done a nice job getting in the door early with Washington, who some believe could even come to a decision soon. Washington has been on campus several times already, camping in the summer and returning for a game in the fall.

My dad is from the same area as this kid. You're in NC, correct?
