I enjoy the show. I am not a fan of vampire movies or shows at all but they have done an interesting twist to the story with Dracula working with Van Helsing. The fact most of the chicks are smoking hot helps too. I watch just to see that Lady Jane and what she is wearing..

Yet a show like Agents of Shield, which seems to get sillier with each episode will survive. I guess when you have corporate backing (Disney) behind you it makes a world of difference.

I just learned that Jonathan Rhys Meyers(Dracula/Grayson) has an alcohol problem to an extent that caused NBC to make a deal with him that he'd only be paid his salary of ~$100,000 per episode only after production. He only gets a per diem and expenses incentive.

10 episodes were original ordered for season 1, so 4 remain which will continue to air on Jan 3rd.
