NBC Sports host

While I waited for near an hour watching the crappiest sports network there is. It really made me greatful for espn even though they hate us. Then they start talking about JM's recruitment and the host of the show goes full retard and laughs at Mike Farrell when he predicts Josh to Tennessee. Then after he picks Tennessee the host asks him why he would pick a 5-7 team. over undefeated OSU and FSU, who where also in his top 5. The guy couldn't believe that Josh had picked Tennessee. To me it was beyond disrespectful.

So I purpose something that most of us do any way, boycott NBC Sports.

What is NBC sports?

Sunday night Football is all NBC has other then that they suck. I do prefer Sunday night football over Espn and Monday night but Espn sucks too. CBS and Fox have the best NFL coverage. College sucks on CBS to because of Verne Lunquist.

I don't care for Sunday Night Football even. Especially after that ridiculous anti-gun rant from Costas. I had to quit watching it.

Yeah they seemed beyond unprofessional to me as well. But I thought Josh handled it with class and ease...

That guy looks like he should be the host of "The Dating Game" rather than a sports announcer. However, you did say he worked for NBC.

CHECK....There's a reason why NBC and all it's affiliates are the lowest rated network....look no further than Barshir at or formally at MSNBC...,

Bob was only saying that people on anti-depressants and idiots shouldn't have access to guns. Obviously the majority of us gun owners are responsible citizens(thank goodness). :twocents:

Never heard of or seen dumb & dumber from this show before but wasn't impressed. One called Clem&son WRU instead of UT & the other one couldn't get over someone committing to a 5-7 team. Really uninformed ignorant guys.

With the proliferation of sports channels and programs, we have to expect dilution of knowledge of those who fill time. Briggs is a good example of someone who skim reads and doesn't research. I also think these guys are encouraged to be controversial, although in Briggs case I think he is just ignorant. Being older, I don't buy people whose perspective is equivalent to their age. Tradition is built on history and history doesn't start when a person is born. I will use the now cliche, Butch gets it. I really don't have much respect for any sports broadcaster of college football who doesn't know which college football programs are the top 20 of all time or, for that matter, the losingest. That should be mandatory. And, in my feeble mind, it is their job to know some of the monikers that go along with it -- like Tennessee being wide receiver u and linebacker u. I've just gotten to the point where I don't listen to the talking heads whether sports or any other issue for that matter because it is all talk and no depth of understanding of their topic. When Josh started to speak, then I paid attention. He and his family's evaluation of Tennessee, Clemson, Georgia, and Florida State is all that counts. And I'm elated that young man is going to be a Vol! GBO!!
