Not only that, but Phil Jackson works best when his front office gets him superstar talent. In fact, I think manager is a more apt job title for Jackson than coach.I'm with you Milo...Kobe's the best player in the league right now, and probably will be for another 2,3, or 4 years. The Lakers can not continue to waste his prime by surrounding him with these young players...and Lamar Odom is not enough help. It's like watching Kobe try to lead a college lineup into the NBA playoffs.
The Lakers need to move Bynum, and maybe even Odom, and try to get Garnett in LA.
Jermaine O'Neal is not bigtime enough to bring the Lakers a title. Garnett might be, if his good years haven't passed him by in Minnesota. How is Kobe the leagues best overall player? Because he can score 50 pts a game by shooting every trip down the court? I don't feel bad for Kobe or the Lakers. Kobe wanted to be the star and now he is and the team is awful. I'd be surprised if Garrnet ends up or wants to be a Laker. I can see Jermaine o'Neal going to LA before any other big name.
P.S.: GO BULLS!
So? The Miami chapter of the AARP is losing to a team worth half a damn. With this line up, if Wade is hurt, the Heat have less than 0% chance to win any 7 game series with a .500+ team. You might get a game or two of solid production out of Shaq, but that's it.How about the defending champ Heat being down 3-0 to the Bulls. Wait a munute, did I say the Bulls?hmy:
Why not?why on earth is there a 6th man award?
