NBA Playoffs Thread

The Cavs without Lebron would’ve gotten swept by Indiana. The Celtics without Kyrie are two games away from the Finals. It was an aweful comparison.

No, the Cavs without LeBron don't get swept by Indiana because the Cavs without LeBron don't make the playoffs. What's funny is everybody talks about how good Kyrie is, fact is Cleveland won one single game less this year without him, than last year with him.

I still believe GS is winning this series but I’m curious what the strategy is if Golden State loses this series.

Your first sentence is conjecture. The fact is, Kyrie Irving is Bostons best player.

Nobody is claiming Kyrie isn’t their best player. Changes nothing about how wrong your original statement is. And the OKC comparison is only slightly less laughable.

The Cavs probably win 25 games without Lebron. I was kinda thinking about what would happen if they’d lost Lebron at the point in the season Kyrie got hurt.

Only team I could think of that relies so heavily on just one player for team identity.

That's what I'm saying. Kyrie is a helluva little ball player but he's not making much difference in Cleveland right now IMO. I will say, it'll be interesting in Boston when he comes back there. He's not coming back to a group of guys, he's coming back to a team.

And on a side note about Korver...dude has gone through a lot recently. He seems like a great guy off the court. Read a good piece about him recently.
