NBA Playoffs Thread

I am rooting for the Rockets, but their offense is boring to watch. So much isolation, which is my least favorite type of basketball. Warriors offense is so much more satisfying and pleasing to the eye, even though I don't care for a lot of their players.

He should have been thrown out already. Why does he always get away with so much crap?

Only reason he gets media recognition because he’s with the Warriors.

He ain’t even the best player on his team.

Mostly because he has a history of dirty plays and the NBA tends to overlook it.

How on earth could you like the rockets players but not the warriors players?

Well, to be fair, I never said I like the Rockets players.

Green and Durant are punks. (Although Durant is an amazing player, make no mistake about that). I like Curry and Klay fine. I like Iguodala too. Maybe I shouldn't have said I dislike "a lot" of the Warriors players.

I like Chris Paul a lot. He's got some of the best fundamentals in NBA history. Harden, meh, I could take him or leave him. He's great offensively, but he gives zero effort on the defensive end, so I don't respect that.

CP3 is one of the dirtiest players in the league. Straight punk. Jmo

And Harden has turned himself into a decent defender over the years,

Shaq and Barkley described Houston's offense problems really well.

What did they say?

I don't like watching it and it doesn't seem like a championship offense because they rely too much on 2 guys, but it's been effective.

Harden has always been a good defender when he wanted to be, IMO. The one year in the playoffs where Aldridge was torching everybody, they put Harden on him and he did the best job. He's just lazy and gambles a lot on D

Harden won't give up the dribble til there's 2 seconds on the clock, basically

As a whole, the Warriors 4 stars had an average shooting night. Harden had a great night and Paul had a good night and they lost by 14 at home. They got no shot in this series.

4 stars? I like Swaggy P as much as the next guy but star is a bit much

Draymond is a glorified role player. 20 guys could do what he does.

I'd love to hear anyone name the 20 guys that can win DPOY defending positions 3-5 and average 7.3 apg with just 2.9 topg.

Rodman was a role player and he's in the HOF.

Wow he gets to throw passes to Stephen Curry, Kevin Durant, and Klay Thompson on 4-on-3 situations.

Wow I am so impressed

Also Draymond is overrated defensively. He can’t guard anyone his size with a halfway decent post game

Uhh, he’s with the Warriors.

There’s multiple shooters on the floor that can put up 20+ points any night.

Put him on any other team, he doesn’t get much recognition.

Good player but overrated.

That's funny, because I'm pretty sure just about any other defensive anchor in the league would hardly touch the ball with these stars.

He averaged more apg when Durant and/or Curry were out, so maybe it's not just about the star power around him.

Can you even name 20 guys who could win DPOY, let alone one who can pass like he does?
