I don't expect that the Hawks will win on Sunday either. I merely object to you saying that it doesn't mean "diddly" unless they win on Sunday. Taking the Celtics to seven games means everything for this franchise.

I mean at least acknowledge that you hate them for personal reasons or something. Because you hating them for any basketball related reasons is just ignorant.

Does Saying the Spurs are the worst team of all time sound like a logical thing to say?

It means even more for one of the NBA's most frustrated fan bases. Hawks fans deserve an exciting playoff series after a 9 year quiescence.

News flash...no one on here knows you...you can't just make stupid comments like that and expect people to say ahhh that's just "toxicdonut" being "toxicdonut". When you say something like that on the totally anonymous internet people are going to think you're stupid unless you elaborate and explain.

I apologize for saying something like that. Really should of thought about saying it because you're right. Taking a team like the Celtics is very important to this franchise and the whole city Atlanta. Especially when no one gave them a snow ball's chance in hell to win a game (Ex. Steven A. Smith). I hope me opening my mouth without thinking doesn't cause any hard feelings.

For the recrod, my rooting interests lie with the Boston Celtics and the Golden State Warriors. I just happen to be one of many whom appreciate brilliant coaching stradegies/shemes, nearly flawless offensive execution, and an aggressive defensive mentality that is essential for championship quality teams.

No hard feelings. It's just been amazing to watch the heart that the terrible, young, sub-.500 Hawks have played with at home in this series. Repeatedly down by 10, down by 12, etc. etc.....they just haven't given up. And since the whole Celtics team is three old guys, all you have to do is hang around, and then you can run right by them in the fourth quarter. Imagine if the Hawks were actually any good.

Danny Ainge is fine. He made the moves to get the superstars, he upheld his end of the bargain. Any failure in the playoffs is on Doc Rivers and the team.

I'm ecstatic Atlanta won, though. Either Boston loses in by far the most monumental upset EVAR, or they're pretty much screwed for the rest of the playoffs. Either way is great.
