Coach Cal? Good one.

There IS a problem with it. The NBA shouldn't allow teams to blatantly foul in the freakin 3rd quarter, 30+ feet away from the basket, before they even make it past half court. Its a pathetic tactic.

True or false, the team that did that won the series?

And there is a limit to how many fouls each player gets. So it's not like a total free for all.

Also you have nothing on my argument of as soon as he starts making them it stops. The guy hit 9/20. Why would you not foul him? For the NBA's ratings? Please.

BTW, it does. Nobody watches the Spurs. They suck the fun out of watching basketball.

They don't suck the fun out of watching basketball for people that appreciate basketball as a sport more than solely a source of entertainment. If you only want to be entertained watch a movie.

It's a winning tactic as far as I can tell. Guys employing said tactic are moving on to the second round. Guys that were the victims of said tactic cleared out their lockers today.

The tactic is sound and made perfect sense. D'Antoni leaving Shaq on the floor was the pathetic part.

All the people slobbering about what a marvelous job the Laker front office has done should remember this, those are the geniuses who traded Caron Butler for Kwame Brown.

anybody else see the ridiculouly silly jacket that LeBron wore in his post game interview? Had epaulettes on it and such. Hilarious.

ask kansas about fouling to win games

Bill, that would work vs. Memphis because they couldn't shoot FT.'s :banghead2: MOST NBA teams can shoot FT's. Just saying...

Does Kansas have and NBA team?

That doesn't matter at all. It's still the same sport and both Memphis and Pheonix had the same issue. Kansas and San Antonio were smart to take advantage of it. The only difference is basically Memphis' whole team sucked at shooting free throws where as PHX only had one particular player.
