In regard to Cuban's comments, I was referring more to the question of whether college or the D-league is a better option for developing players.

It seems to me the D-League would be the no-brainer. You eat, drink, and sleep hoops with no distractions. Yeah the talent pool isn't strong right now, but that's a product of them being NBA rejects. That could change quickly if teams could draft HS players, give them nice contracts, and shelve them in the D-league for 1 or 2 seasons. Do like baseball's farm system.

So you could draft HS kids but only for the D-League, otherwise they go to college for a year?

Btw the NBA has a farm system, it's called the NCAA and they don't have to pay them. The NBA has made college basketball a joke.

The NCAA has done it to themselves. Pay the players. The players are what drive the interest in the sport and they are the only party not getting paid.

The Pacers "tailspin" continues. Working on a second straight blowout loss and third straight overall. So far swapping out Granger for Turner isn't yielding good results. Fortunately they've still got a while to get things sorted out.

Give them a set amount extra a week maybe, paying them whatever would destroy college athletics.

Sure. Is there currently a rule that 18 year olds can't play in the NBDL?

Well you can't join the NBA straight out of HS, the NBDL is owned by the NBA. So I would imagine they have the same rules.

But why just make it where the NBDL draft them? Just open it up period. If the kid isn't NBA ready then he goes to the NBDL, if he is ready he plays. Cubans way doesn't really make send to me.

NBA doesn't even care if they make it obvious as they rig games.

The foul call on Noah was completely b.s. to put Wade to the line for the lead.

Dwyane 'phantom foul' Wade. They gave him phantom fouls all the way to his first title too.

Lebron looking for the foul after the clean strip... lol. Of course he is. He always thinks he's fouled every time he misses.
