It is way to early to be drunk
I don't think he's an excellent defender, but I haven't watched him a ton or anything. The fact that you don't really need to cover him on the offensive end has to matter, right?
2 of the most over-appreciated players in the league. Considering everything (salary, productivity when healthy, injuries) there are about 10 point guards I'd take over either of them (not in order):
CP3
Curry
Rubio
Calderon
Lowry (most underrated PG in the league)
Lillard
Bledsoe
Wall (I can't believe I'm saying this)
Conley
MCW
Hill
Well, he's shooting 35% from 3, which is average, so it's not like you can just leave him alone.
Basically there are 4 areas of contribution that I look at for PGs: distribution, scoring, defense, rebounding (last priority).
IMO, Westbrook is only good at defense and rebounding. Rubio is good at distribution, defense, and rebounding.

Yeah, but the Grizz had a great team and OKC wasn't used to playing without Westbrook. Take any starting PG out of any (otherwise competitive) playoff series and replace his minutes with Derek Fisher and see how the team does.

I also just realized no Kyrie Irving on the list?
