Ftr I'm not convinced they are just as good without Russ, and anyone that is, is an idiot. They are not a contender without Russ, period.
This was never the argument. I argued that he's a pretty good player and he only makes them a little bit better.
Apparently I have a stick up my ass but you're the one getting mad, telling people they have sticks up their ass, then making a straw man argument and calling the opposition idiots. Take a chill pill. It's OK to be wrong from time to time.
Hibbert had an indefensively bad game tonight. I don't get worked up over the rebounding numbers like some people do, because I watch the team play every night and know that's just not really Hibbert's role. The other guys eat up the rebounds and Hibbert really just focuses on getting himself back to the court to play defense. However, he abused Miami in the first half of the last game on the inside, and with nobody even close to his height on their roster, he's got to show up more on the offensive end.
I have to disagree. The Heat are a bad rebounding team and they were +9 on the boards last night. The Pacers most certainly need their center to rebound. Every team does.
Hawks last week were +5. Raptors were +3. Spurs were +6. Cavaliers were +4. Bulls were +4. Grizz were +12. Knicks were +5. All losses in the last month. This was a great rebounding team when they were streaking earlier this year. Hibbert averaged 9 rpg the first 2 months of the season.
You don't need your center to rebound to win, trust me I've watched Perk do jack **** for a few years now and OKC wins consistently. Actually now that i think about it, their centers didn't rebound in Seattle.
