WTF? Even though I have League Pass, the Pacers feed of tonight's game is blacked out and I have to listen to the Grizz announcers because apparently they are my "local" team. That blows.

Oh well, this should be a good game. Go Pacers!

What do you mean? Just that he's an a-hole on the court? I like Barnes, but I've always been a fan of grinders. Pound for pound he might be the toughest dude in the NBA.

Agreed, just cause you act tough doesn't mean you are tough.

And The Huff doesn't watch till after football is over.

Playing hard and being tough are two different things. Barnes plays hard. No denying it. But he's not intimating anyone.

I missed the first half and just saw the play that Serge got ejected on. How the hell does he get ejected for that?

Wow, people have really strong opinions about Barnes here. I'm not saying he's "I'm scared of him" tough, I'm saying he's "I don't want to play against him" tough.

If you missed part of the Clippers' game last night, apparently you have no hoops cred.

Nah..I was just making a specific comment in a game thread relating to a live event that took place in a game. Watching would be a pretty significant component of that discussion.

Fair enough. Ibaka swatted Blake. Blake locked arms in an effort to get under ibakas skin/instigate something per usual. Ibaka withdrew his arm from Blake. Barnes came over from the side and two hand shoved ibaka on the chest. Then stuck his face out smiling, knowing ibaka can't punch him because they're on a basketball floor.

I don't know why I'm always drawn to the guys that are hated, but I love that crap. I don't like cheap shots, but in any other way that you can be a bully on the floor, I love it. Rodman was one of my favorites. Barnes got Ibaka ejected and they got the W. Looks like it worked out for his team. Ibaka shouldn't have been ejected (I've now seen the footage).

I would take Barnes on my team in a heartbeat. He's the perfect bench player, IMO. Would you guys want him on your team?

I agree with your premise completely just not about this player. I don't think Barnes is a bully on the floor. I think he's a cheap shot artist. He's carved out a niche for himself and is a fine bench player. I do not want him because he's a colossal tool and has never been my colossal tool. If Barnes came in as a member of the grizzlies and acted like he does, I'd back him. I get why people feel that way. I wouldn't want to acquire him though.

Weird how that works. I'd say Stephenson is d'bag for what he's done in the past but I find his antics on the court funny. Dude threw his girlfriend down the stairs when he was 19, went down the stairs and hit her head against them again. For that, I dislike him. But even the Tony Allen thing was kind of funny if you look at his face while he does it.

He's kind of a weird player. He learned how to play on the streets at Rucker Park. All-time leading score in the state of New York. He's a rather unlikeable player imo because I'm disgusted by the incident with his girlfriend. Yet, I find his antics funny and obviously what he provides on the court. Most people around the league don't seem to have a problem with him which is a little surprising. He's kind of a dick.
