Maybe this has been discussed, but Tim Hardaway is a HOF finalist. I just don't see him as a HOFer. Haven't looked at his career stats, but my memory says no.

This, along with the home run derby used to be the only all-star events I enjoyed. NBA found a way to ruin it and I'm not that excited about players I don't know in baseball hitting home runs. So... I guess all-star events are useless in all sports now. Pro bowl was always useless.

Pro Bowl is the worst by far, they need to bring back the skills challenges and fastest man events.

I just remember there being consistent home run hitters and stars for home run derbys. Now, it's like there are different home run hitters every year. Plus, the Astros have been the worst in baseball for 3 seasons so I don't follow as closely I guess. Maybe I've just grown out of baseball a bit because there is no point in wasting time watching the Astros. You can call it fair weather but when there are 162 games and you've finished last for 3 straight seasons, it requires a lot of time watching your team be the absolute worst. Maybe I'd be more into the home run derby if the Astros actually contended in any way whatsoever.

It was okay when he used to actually call games, so just a couple times a game he would use it. When it's a HR derby and they're lobbing BP balls up there for express purpose of letting guys crush them, it's just dumb as hell.
