This game looks amazing and is pretty fun to play, but having never really played this franchise, holy **** it has a steep learning curve. There's so much you have to learn to play effectively, and there's no real tutorial on any sort of playcalling, so at times it can be really frustrating. So far I haven't come within 20 points of winning a game.

I love this game but something just happened that pissed me off. So I'm doing my career, and we're going up against the Heat I play PG for Phoenix, and we beat the heat by 20. So one of my goals or whatever in the game was to score 8 points while shooting 60%. I end up scoring 31 shooting 57%, Lebron talks to me in the tunnel positively, but then my coach calls me into the office and tells me my minutes are being cut for lack of production. I know I didn't achieve the goal but come on....
This game has so much potential, but I really question if I have the desire to put in the necessary hours to even be competent at it. I've played about 10 games so far and lost every one of them by 20-30 points. Very frustrating.
How are you playing? Shooting quickly, being patient? Ball movement is extremely important, and also utilize your pick and rolls. 2 of the best tips I can give you. Especially ball movement. Patience is the key on this game.
Agreed. You can't just try and take guys one on one or jack up shots. It will never work. That is what I like about 2k, the game is a challenge.
What difficulty?I'm decent at offense. My trouble is on the other end. 90% of the time the opposing point guard just makes one crossover, blows by my PG and goes in for the layup as nobody in the paint rotates over to help. If I try to play off and prevent the drive, he just makes an easy jump shot. Yesterday I played the Wizards and gave up 67 points or so. Of those 67, I think John Wall had 40 or 42.
