I love this game but something just happened that pissed me off. So I'm doing my career, and we're going up against the Heat I play PG for Phoenix, and we beat the heat by 20. So one of my goals or whatever in the game was to score 8 points while shooting 60%. I end up scoring 31 shooting 57%, Lebron talks to me in the tunnel positively, but then my coach calls me into the office and tells me my minutes are being cut for lack of production. I know I didn't achieve the goal but come on....

My one issue with this game, when the CPU gets a rebound and tries to push the ball up the floor, every time I always wind up with a big man on their PG. So stupid.

This game looks amazing and is pretty fun to play, but having never really played this franchise, holy **** it has a steep learning curve. There's so much you have to learn to play effectively, and there's no real tutorial on any sort of playcalling, so at times it can be really frustrating. So far I haven't come within 20 points of winning a game.

Yeah the learning curve is step. I try to run plays so I am not just playing street ball. Also try to get good with pick and rolls.

I had the same problem when I got 2k12.

Wish you could do this on ps4. Its the same **** rotation every few days. Talk to coach, meet with gm, have press conference. No oppssing players talk to you in the tunnel or nothing.

Im not far away from the playoffs with the cavs. We are 55 and 10 and of course the heat are tied in the east with us

They definitely rushed to get 2k out forthe next gen. Too many things are missing from the previous 2k IMO.

This game has so much potential, but I really question if I have the desire to put in the necessary hours to even be competent at it. I've played about 10 games so far and lost every one of them by 20-30 points. Very frustrating.

How are you playing? Shooting quickly, being patient? Ball movement is extremely important, and also utilize your pick and rolls. 2 of the best tips I can give you. Especially ball movement. Patience is the key on this game.

Agreed. You can't just try and take guys one on one or jack up shots. It will never work. That is what I like about 2k, the game is a challenge.

I'm decent at offense. My trouble is on the other end. 90% of the time the opposing point guard just makes one crossover, blows by my PG and goes in for the layup as nobody in the paint rotates over to help. If I try to play off and prevent the drive, he just makes an easy jump shot. Yesterday I played the Wizards and gave up 67 points or so. Of those 67, I think John Wall had 40 or 42.

What difficulty?

Defense is challenging, it will probably take a good slider set to help with the easy drives. Happens to me a lot.

Embarrassingly enough, whatever the default is.

I'm a bulls fan so I usually use D Rose at point guard. On ball defense can be challenging but try using your PG on defense. What team do you use? If your big men aren't rotating maybe it's their defensive awareness rating?

My problem is that I normally turn the ball over too much.

If I fix that I normally win every game.

Took me about 10 or so games to get a hang of it. Avg 23 ppg, 6.7 rpg and 6 assists 1.3 blocks and 1.8 steals. Im glad i chose 2 guard because i still get put at PG every once in a while and the oppossing pg always makes me look bad

Try and watch tutorials on YouTube. Pressing the L2/LT button will position your defender a little better.
