You may be right, may be wrong. I'm looking at the benefits of Palardy's 2nd, 3rd, 4th year with experience this year.

I'm more concerned with this year. Dooley feels the same, I'm sure.

Yes that would be nice, but I see a few tight ball games that we may need to rely on Lincoln to win it for us. Kentucky, ole miss, south Carolina, and Georgia still can all come down to a fg for the win. I think palardy will be great, but I'm not ready to see if he's clutch yet if the game is on the line. I like he's getting reps with the first team, but Lincoln has been an absolute bright spot this year.

A 46 yarder is far from a gimme...you can't say that with any certainty.

No I can't, but he hasn't missed one yet this year and actually kicked one longer than 46 this year. I forget, but was that 46 against the wind or with?

You give yourself the best chance to win football games by playing your best players. Picking favorites is bad for everyone. Lincoln is the better kicker right now and deserves to start when he's healthy enough to make FGs consistently.

Lincoln was the better kicker BEFORE the groin injury. He couldn't kick it above Cody's arm pit last year after his injury. He'll need proper rest before kicking again...that didn't happen last year +n we didn't have Palardy.

Didn't Naz have ACL surgery this spring? It seems way to early for him to be playing again.

Kind of is, it depends on severity. It can be anywhere from 6 months to a year. Complete tear is def a year, but less severe ones vary.

Awesome news though, I thought he was out all year!

Why would he? He's eligible for a medical RS isn't he?

Have u seen how thin our CBs are?

we cant even run an effective Dime defense.

sidenote, on the Janzen Jackson INT vs LSU, he completely saved what would have been a Touchdown, cus Teague got totally lost on the motion into bunch and he left his man.

I am so happy to here about Naz progress... Hope he makes it back for So. Carolina.

I can't remember that much about him, but is he supposed to be really good? It seems that everyone is excited about him coming back. Of course, in our situation, I guess it's just good to have anyone back.

He'll definitely help a very thin DB unit.

He's a good ball player

He needs to play this year... redshirted last year and will not get a medical redshirt 6th year if he is available to play this year and is held out by choice.

This, He needs to play, Medical redshirts are hard to come by if you can play half of the games, and are held out to save eligibility, especially if you have already been redshirted. Med. RS's normally only come with a season ending injury from what ive read or heard. (not very much, lol)

I tore my ACL last year and was back to playing sports in 6 months. Medical advances are amazing with proper rehab.

you aint lyin. the CB for Alabama ruptured his achilles tendon in January and has been starting from Day 1. that used to be an injury that took a minimum of a season & a half

Naz could be ready for USCjr this week per GVX. If not the following week vs Memphis. I hope it is this weekend.

out of sight has really been out of mind with Oliver this season... but he has a real shot of starting along side Teague next year at CB.

Based on the latest reports, he won't see action this weekend. Hopefully Naz will be ready for the Memphis game.
