I will never understand this. Not with the great library of exclusives that PS3 has and the amount of variety they have. Unless you are primarily a Halo, Call of Duty, and sports gamer, I honestly don't see how gamers claim that PS3's library has NOTHING to offer them! Just off the top of my head, games like...

Uncharted 1, 2, & 3
Killzone 2 & 3
Infamous 1 & 2
Little Big Planet 1 & 2
Ratchet and Clank
God of War 3 & Ascension

The Unfinished Swan

Mod Nation Racers
Demon's Souls
Valkeria Chronicles
Ni No Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch

...are all great franchises and every one of them exclusive to PS3! Plus more is coming with The Last of Us, Beyond: Two Souls, Gran Turismo 6, Panopticon, Kingdom Hearts 1&2 HD, etc.

Anyone who says the PS3 has nothing for them to play, that just means they aren't really trying anything out.

For me......again, for me......there are three on that list that are worth any more than a week play......mlb, gow, and uncharted. JMO

that's the case with most games now a days unfortunately. ps3 or 360. take the time to beat them and trade or shelve them. games like cod and battlefield, games with truly great mlutiplayer are the only games with high replay value. even sports games get old after a while.

Well technically it started when you were asked if you were glad you had a PS3. Then you alluded to the fact that out of it's extensive library of games, there were only 2 that you thought was worth playing.

I've been reading this forum for a while and it's definitely been an Xbox-centric forum for the most part. I'm just trying to balance the scales just a bit and make sure the PS3 gets equal representation. I'm sorry if that irritates you.

Makes me laugh more than anything.................but Im sure you will turn that comment into a console war discussion as well

I can already tell one thing I hate about it. It's pretty much become the norm nowadays so I should expect it, but it holds your hand throughout. It pops up icons to any and everything. I can't stand that. What ever happened to discovering things. A game rated M shouldn't be holding your hand. Make games harder for Christ's sake. I can't say it enough. Demon/Dark Souls for example. No icons(well it does have shimmering bodies), no tutorials (other than basic controls), no map/gps type direction to point you the right way. No "press this button to perform this", etc. Just a hard grueling game where you have to figure things out for yourself(unless you look on the internet). I can understand some sandbox games having direction/item arrows as they're quite large, but these linear games don't need it.

Surley the Souls games captured your attention longer than a week? I also like trying to beat MGS games in complete stealth(on extreme) without ever being seen or killing anyone. It's pretty hard and fun IMO, repetitive as hell, but fun nonetheless. That would take way way longer than a week. I guess that's not your cup of tea? Other than those I agree with you, but Xbox doesn't have much re-playability in their exclusives either. I hate these console wars, lol. Lets all focus on PC gaming and make it the standard as it should be. I'd love to have this game on PC so I could mod all the kid level stuff out.

I'm fairly certain you can disable all of the hand holding.
