Leading up to NSD, thought it would be nice to have a centralized general discussion thread for those of us that don't have the time to jump around all the individual player threads. Working a year end audit makes it tough to follow NSD, and I'm sure there are others just as busy.

I'll start off with a question to get it rolling:

Any possibility of a big time surprise?

GBO and let's land that top 5 class!

I dont think we will have a big surprise, really no surprises. But i would love to have one

And i would also like to know, if anybody could help, how long after NSD can a recruit wait to sign? I know some kids dont sign on NSD for different reasons, but what is the time limit afterwords?

I am by no means an expert, but I think they have until classes start in the Fall to actually sign their NLI. If a recruit is going to wait that long though, they will normally sign by the end of the Spring Semester so they can enroll in Summer classes.

And with the numbers that may happen to push them to 2015 recruiting class.

The Big Fish only mean 1 thing, that the recruit is only possibly leaning your way. CBJ has all of our recruits leaning our way, the only ones swaying are those that doesn't feel they can compete with the in coming class.

I wouldn't expect AJ to send a LOI unless he dials the wrong number.

Final signing day for football is April 1st iirc. No way a kid would benefit from prolonging his recruitment til the 1st day of class. Teams would give up on him quick unless he was a TOP TOP athlete.

FYI if anyone wants a text every time we receive an LOI on Wed you can sign up by texting "recruit" to 68683.

Are there anybody left that we have a chance at, and if not we have had a outstanding class this year need to follow this class with another top 5 in 2015, and we will be on our way back to the top where we belong, go get them BUTCH.

4* DT Michael Sawyers seems to be the only target left ; it also seems that there is a chance that DL Cory Thomas flips. Doesn't seem like there will be much drama.
