The way I see it, if Tennessee is doing so well as to cause greater opportunities to lure away the coaching staff, that is a good thing. It means the program is having great success, and looks like a great job for the next staff.

If they are gone in a few years because things are not going well... well, good riddance.

It isn't like we are going to end up any worse off than a losing season.

My perceptions is this: they aren't here to just win Tennessee football games. They are here to be part of a new cocept in college football. Putting together a program that will be considered the gateway to the NFL for the talented players who chose to come here.

This ain't your typical coaching gig fellas. This something special. Something that could be interesting and fullfilling to them for a long time.

Monte certainly does not act like a 68 year old, He's got a LOT of energy and fire...I really enjoy listening to him talk, Very animated....Oh man I wish I could be a high ranked high school senior right now....It would just take him and coach O walking through the door to convince me that UT is the place to be.

All ready before the first kickoff everyone is talking retiring and leaving in 2-3 years. Monte talked passion like I've never heard in awhile. He mentioned playing in front of 65k fans and he lite up with just the thought of 107K fans!.

I'll tell you this...the first time they run thru that "T" you won't hear about retiring or leaving for a very long long time!

This gave me goosebumps.....I wish I was going to be at the first home game....

The fire this staff is showing is about to make me go spider monkey on someone. Monte and O is just going to be absolutely a dominating duo. Does anyone own a furniture store , Monte will be needing a comfy couch in his office for all the hours he is going to put in to restore us to our rightful placein college football...............THE TOP!
