Since I am from Arkansas I sometimes browse through Hogville.net and check out their forums. Seems that winning 10 games makes you a "National Powerhouse" in college football, or that is what the Petrino "sheep" seem to think. With that being said, I can see us being a powerhouse pretty soon if all you have to do is win 10 games a season, any thoughts?

I really don't think winning 10 games is outta the question, maybe as soon as 2012. The bowl game would be a good indicator "for me" as far as Dooleys ability to keep the team focused during bowl prep. We are headed in the right direction, 1-2 more top 20 recruiting classes with the coaches we have and we are back IMO.

the way most of them are making it sound, THE Ohio State Buckeyes are wasting their time coming to NO, cause they are acting like they are gonna beat em 100-0. Since when did having 1 10 win season make people so cocky?

I wouldn't be surprised at all if Arky drops that game to the Suckeyes. They're far from a powerhouse.

If I was Arkansas I would be ticked off. Ohio State can let those players play in bowl game and defer suspensions till next season. They should be out for bowl and first 4 games next season not play in bowl and suspended first 5 next season. that's ridiculous.

Arkansas is just going with it, they haven't experienced success like this before.

What would that make what Alabama or Florida have accomplished over the last few years? Arkansas fans have really went off the deep end with their expectations moving forward.

this is true, BUT, arent you supposed to be humble til you ACTUALLY DO SOMETHING TO BE COCKY ABOUT? If I remember right, didnt they have a few 10 win seasons during the Hootie era?

Yes, although South Carolina fans have been doing this exact same thing for years, so I can't say I'm surprised.

Hogville's not as much fun, since Nutt and Mustain left..
It was wild over there a few years ago

that and the fact I moved from NWA, has limited my posting there

Maybe in 2012 we can win 10. Bray, Hunter, Rogers and the OL will be Jrs. with 2 years experience and a lot of holes will be filled on the D.

I hope Arky beats OSU. They got off light with all the crap that they did. An SEC team, except maybe Florida or Bama, would have almost had the death penalty.

It happens fairly easy to fans of schools that don't get them. Ever. A coworker of mine is a huge Arkansas fan. He got quite delusional this year.

Top-20 classes won't do it when that places you 6th or so in the SEC in recruiting, behind 4 likely season opponents, and tied with 1 or two more.
