Several national sports radio shows singing the praises of the Vols turnaround after the 1-4 start.

Nice to see some don't just "pile on" but have the chops to compliment us when we do something worthwhile.

They aldo picked us to go 4-8, 3-, and 5-7

Worst part of going to Tennessee stores is seeing all the other schools having sections of stuff almost as big as the Tennessee section. I've always hated that.

We have a lot of Redneck traitors up here. People who think it's cool to go against the local team. I can assure you when you go down to Florida or Alabama you will be hard-pressed to find anything Tennessee.

It is interesting that with a losing record and a loss to Tennessee, Mississippi State is ranked ahead of us. These things don't bother me however like they used to. I can rant and complain all day and my buddies on the West Coast will just say, "but you lost to Georgia State, who really cares!"

The good thing is, that after the Florida game, if it were up to me, we would have fired Pruitt, now I am starting to feel better about the team.

these rankings that put us in the forties are OK and reflect our overall record and really we can't expect much more. BUT, excluding the 6 big bowls and teams playing in them, there is not another team out there who will be happy to draw a berth against the Vols! We might not be top 40 much less top 25, but the way the Vols are playing right now, they will be able to beat most of those higher ranked teams. That will be proven on New Years day! Hell, the way we look right now LSU wouldn't want to draw us! Mizzou had the best pass defense in the league before we got there!

Whoa! Slow down a bit. Great improvements but none of the top teams fear UT --- yet. (P.S. UT was terrific, but I'm pretty sure that was not Mizzou's #1 pass defense.)
