Is for them to out in the hours
Nowhere in the contract/scholarship is there a clause for anything being dependant on fans cheers

I enjoy watching Tennessee football. win or lose.I shouldn't have to stop to get that Doofus to fire the other doofus. Im going to Tuscaloosa because I go to every game, not to support anyone except the players.

P.S. Both their asses (Currie included)need to be sent packing.

Then shut up and don't complain about the pathetic state of this program.

If you are willing to keep giving your money away even when it is clear the administration isn't serious about winning then you are implicitly agreeing to Tennessee never becoming a dominant program ever again.

At the end of the day, THIS IS A BUSINESS. If my clients will not punish me financially for putting a bad product out there, I'll keep putting that bad product out there cause its cheaper. Right now Tennessee makes more in total revenue than Alabama but we spend nearly half of what they do on football.

By continually filling up Neyland stadium even with a mediocre product on the field, you are telling the people who run the program that there will be no consequences for this penny-pinching. If I only cared about the business aspect of Tennessee football, I would love fans like you. Those who I can screw over easily.

I said this before the South Carolina game and was attacked by "real fans" who said its an honor to attend games at Neyland.

Some people are just not smart enough to understand simple things like this. The more you guys fill up with Neyland with a subpar product the more permission you give the administration to keep doing what they are doing right now. Which is keep incompetent people like Butch Jones employed.

If Tennessee fans want a winner in Neyland stadium, they need to stop attending games until the administration shows they are serious about winning.

You were probably "attacked" because you post ridiculous over the top hot mess with a nugget of a reasonable thought sprinkled in.

Butch Jones is done after this game and there will probably less than 2000 Vol fans there. Guess that is going to be the reason it happens. It has to do with timing and decisions well above your pay grade. Blaming fans who go to the game for Jones still being here is just stupid. The fan turnout was ugly looking against USC and only got worse with every quarter.

You do realize that immediately upon firing CBJ, the national media will turn its attention to attacking Vol fan base for running off a guy who rebuilt the program from 5 wins to 9 wins? They will say Tennessee fans are unrealistic and pressure is too much to attract a successful coach....just watch how this spins.

You must not be watching any media right now. People outside of Tennessee have been calling for Butch Jones to be fired starting with the Florida game. Everyone can see his incompetence.

People are actually wondering what is taking so long. A proud program like Tennessee should have fired him immediately after that embrasssing performance against Georgia. That is what proud programs do.

Issue with blaming fans is, the tickets will still sale to people who otherwise couldn’t afford to go. The casual fan will buy them and take little Tim to the game and leave at halftime when he gets board. They don’t care about UT, they are just wanting to make their kids happy. Only way we prevent this from occurring is to ask season ticket holders to hold their tickets and not resale them, while also not using them to go to the game. Yea, UT made money off the season ticket, but that stadium will be half full. In the end, that’s a lot to ask of people, especially those who could use the extra cash.

You try to screw people over with your screwy ass predictions and self proclaimed "scouting" prowess, what are you talking about?

National laughing stock?

So tired of the thin skin.

How you feel about a program or what decisions should be made should not be based on your emotions.

Don't look now but Sally Sue just made a face at you. Boo Hoo!

Sally Sue's boyfriend that we are trying to recruit cares. Thin skin is hardly the same as being seen as a joke of a program by everyone outside of it. Not caring about our image will lead to a downward spiral in talent, like it or not. That's a fact, and you should care about it.

Understand that a program does not hinge on Sally Sue's boyfriend no matter how cute you think he is.

Including in image is how you respond to challenges. You start the hang wringing knee jerk reactions and they just make you look weak and without character.

We will get through this.

Kind of like, this Volnation.com website is awesome, but it would be so much better if you stopped posting? Am I getting the comparison right?

My friend, butch has been making us look like idiots for years now, it's hardly a knee jerk reaction. And when enough of those boyfriends won't come here because of it, the program does hinge on it. Because his words and obvious lack of coaching acumen are damaging recruiting, which is more than one kid.

No sir, Butch has brought this program up from it's lowest point. He has reached his maximum impact. It is time for a higher level coach.

The stage of our program is not unique to us. Open your eyes and you see that we are in the majority. An emotional reaction is just as silly as you think Butch's rhetoric is.

We just don't need any more drama queens with their delicate feelings hurt. Leave that to Sally Sue.

I have been a VOL fan many years and I would have never guessed it would have come to this. It is almost unthinkable this has happened to such a proud University.

Athletics are a lot like politics, weak leadership and inexperience produce ****ty results

It will be even worse after we get drilled by 40+ on Saturday. I have a friend (OU grad) who lives in DC and he was giving me crap yesterday.

If you support a bad product blindly you pretty much give your consent that you don't care about winning.

The only way the administration will make the changes necessary to build a championship program once again is if they see consequences for their decisions to hire and keep people like Butch Jones around.

Money is the only thing they understand. If you keep giving them money, nothing will change. The only way there will be change is if you hit them where it matters. The pocket book.

Exactly, buying a ticket is a vote for a product on the field.
