WHAT it always does. DEFENSE.

From teams at age 6 to 36. Doesn't change. Defense and OL. In the pits.

Bammer appears to be banged up a little more, but should be a good game.

Regardless of rooting or not rooting for Bammer. It is great to see an all SEC Championship Game.. With the Golden Doomers, Michigan and others in disarray. Ohio State, USC, all having to watch and wonder.

Cant wait for early UT reports to weight room with a new Coach and lets get this party started in Knoxvegas.

I think the OL/DL will cancel themselves out... I think it comes down to which QB plays better and or which makes "the mistake."

And it doesn't help UT one bit to have our biggest rival in the West to be playing our biggest rival in the East

It's just stupid to want either team in the CG

We have to compete for players with these two

Would agree if TN was even remotely competitive with either team, 4-8 though! :banghead2:

Hopefully CJP will change that, his D sure shut down Clemson!!

It’s irrelevant what we “want”. The praise being heaped on UGA’s LBs (coached by our new DC) and Bama’s D (coached by our new HC) ain’t HURTIN us.

I think UGA is built to deal with Bama better than Clemson was. Michel and Chubb will start wearing down the Bama defense as the game progresses. Hurts is no Mayfield so I can't see Bama hanging a ton of points on UGA. My bet is it is a low scoring game with UGA slowly eaking out a lead late in the game.

BTW, I still think UGA has an above average defense. The fact Oklahoma scored that many points is more of a testament to how good Baker Mayfield really is.

Bama has the edge, IMO, even with the injuries. UGA giving up 531 total yards and 242 on the ground?! Damn, I know offense is OU's strength, but wow.

I would humbly disagree..........when you see the SEC payout to ALL SEC schools after an ALL SEC Championship........the Dollars are amazing. Football aside, it will bring in some major dollars.

With a dynamic offense like GA has and a shutdown D like Bama has this should be a great game to watch. I’m also thinking a low scoring game something along the lines of 24-21 GA. I’ll be shocked if either team scores 30+ in this matchup....just not seeing it:..

Lincoln Riley will be on a 3 day bender after losing that lead and then losing

The difference in the game will be who has more points at the end of the game

Seems like the defenses of the winning teams score or set up the field goal teams to score a lot of points yesterday. i still go with what Neyland once said," if they don't score, they will not beat me" or something like that. Remember, he never lost to the Bear.

I don't have stats, but, it seemed like Clemson figured Chubb out in the second half. Not so much Michel. They seemed to know Chubb's moves, much like John Kelly last season. I thought Kelly had lost a step, but I think defenses started doubling up on him and getting to him before he could really launch.
