Who says he wants to play QB anymore? Kaepernick’s deal with Nike is a “star” deal worth millions per year and includes royalties on sales. It's not like he is a sure fire signing that will turn an offense around.

Nothing logical showed that he wanted to quit playing in the NFL.
Also having all that millions while great isn't something that can make him happiest when he can still play in the NFL, and doesn't have any SB rings.

C'mon, Kap is clearly the greatest QB of this generation and being unfairly kept out of the NFL by Trump.

Getting signed to a team and actually taking snaps for the first time in years after basically being cut would be a big risk. If he bombs, his brand would suffer and it would validate him not being signed the past couple years. If he's just dying to play football, I can't believe a CFL team wouldn't have given him a try. Even Manziel got a shot in Canada
