Nate Ament question?

I would love you know much that team would actually cost if somehow that was even realistic. $25 million? $30 million?
I’m terrible at knowing but I’ll give it a shot

Tanner (6)/Henderson (.50)/Clark(.25)
Ames (2.5)/Hill (3.5)
Harris (6)/Lundblade (3.5)/Green (.50)
Ament (7.5)/Brown (1.5)/Scott (.75)
Thiam (4.5)/Rubin (2)

That comes out to $39 million but obviously I don’t really have any clue how accurate those numbers would be

I love his game, but to be honest he could really use another year to develop his body. I believe at the end of the year we saw how injury prone he was because of the bigger guys putting a body on him.

If you saw the one moment against Alabama that caused him to be compromised the rest of the season, you might have a different assessment. That was a nasty pileup for him because of the way his body was positioned. Yes, he took some physicality but did a great job of adjusting.

I mean with the money they're making now if a kid really likes the college experience there isn't a rush to get to the league. As price tags go up, I can see eventually more and more kids electing to stay. Honestly, would be beneficial for the NBA if players like Nate developed for 3-4 years in college then went. Especially if he added 10-15 more pounds and maintained his athleticism with the weight.

They actually can make more In college than their first contract unless a top 8 pick I believe is the number. Outside that college kid can make more now!
