Wow! I logged off of Volnation literally minutes before this announcement and didn’t see it until this morning. What a huge pick up and what a huge relief!

Excited to watch this kid play. Looks like the most talented freshman we’ve landed in a long time.

Right...for that kind of money, why would you go pro if you aren't a slam-dunk top-10 pick? If that number is accurate, he's already getting top-20 pick type money.

Now, Ament is supposedly a lottery lock, but a lot can change in a year's time.

It’s why Toppin returned to TTU, more money in college than as a late 1st rounder

You still go no matter what. The second contract is massive and you don't want to risk or put that off for any reason if you're of the caliber of Ament.
