Nashville Roll Call

We beat you without James Wiseman and our 2nd leading scorer 2 years ago. At your place.
You beat a mostly Tubby assembled squad of Div 2 and 3 players by ...get this now...10 points.
We had no major injuries coming in to this game...and your coach is stating that there is no way the game gets rescheduled.
Starts to make him look like he is the coward...as he is the one who is saying UT doesn't want to play in Memphis or Knoxville anymore.

Barnes isn't the one who lied about "balled up fists" and talked like a junior high punk trying to pick a fight on the playground.

have fun of falling (again) in the 1st or 2nd round of the tourney and disappointing yourselves (again)
In the spirit of the season, stay safe & enjoy your team. Truly disappointed that Tennessee-Memphis didn't happen today. So many were looking forward to this game. Volunteers don't shy away. A dear friend lives in Memphis & loves her Tigers. In her honor I show respect...sorta.;)

we've won 3 of the last 4...and our coach isn't the one trying to limit the series.
(beat you at your place...without James Wiseman...and our 2nd leading scorer was also out due to injury)
Two Memphis players tested positive for Covid, and the rest are held out due to contact tracing of Covid protocols....or maybe you are fine with your entire team and coaching staff also contracting the ailment.
Lol no one was held out except for a walk-on and his roomie. The rest could’ve played and one cent chose to run like the typical coward thug you guys are. Lol. The media is making fun of you for a reason. No wonder no real conference will ever consider you

our coach isn't trying to limit the series there chumpstain.
Your team has lost 3 of the last 4...no reason to believe it wouldn't have been 4 of the last 5 after today.

"Barnes told reporters at Bridgestone Arena there was "no way" the Tigers and Vols will reschedule the game this season. "
That wasn't Penny....that's coming from your coach. He didn't want to play in Knoxville or Memphis anymore (essentially conceding that he won't get a kid that Memphis wants out of Memphis)
Lmao no one makes it out of Memphis. Ask Lorezen Wright

I’m not surprised that you stopped reading his statement and missed the part where Barnes said “we have no open dates”.

Why is this troll allowed to post here at all?
I have an automatic rule. All Memphis trolls go on the Ignore list. This one just hit it. Delusions of grandeur just like the rest of them. They believe they have the pedigree of Kansas or Kentucky while always playing in conferences with the Little Sisters of the Poor. This is simple fact. They need us more than we need them. And we don’t need them at all. Why you ask? Because our $100 million budget says we don’t.

When you have to brag about how far you’ve made it in the NCAA tournament (Elite 8’s, Final 4’s), you don’t have many grounds to make your arguments. Memphis fans are a little delusional in its status as an overall basketball program, but they’re a lot closer to UT on the totem pole than they are to Duke and UNC. If the Memphis and Tennessee jobs were both open right now, Tennessee would be seen as the more desirable, and I’d argue Tennessee basketball has better support now than Memphis basketball.
