I saw him at a local golf tournament this weekend. Today is his first day in Knoxville. He seemed really excited to get there and get things started. Physically the boy looks awesome. I am excited to see what he can bring to this football team.

Looks like an Under Armor shirt to me. At least he's wearing the right color. :)

Will Nance have a chance at competing for the starting QB position this coming season?

I think he's going to be a solid QB IMO. I think Bray will start majority of the time here but I think we redshirt Nance and when Bray leaves he comes in and I think he'll do pretty good. He should have a nice touch on the ball from how it looks now and I'm sure he'll stay that agile/quicker QB with good size and things should look good when it's his time to shine. I think he'll be solid.

He has a very good chance to start this year. Here are the reasons why

1. He has the best frame out of all our QBs so he would be able to take more hits

2. He is pretty mobile and our QBs are going to have to throw on the run alot

3. He has thrown to DaRick almost all the way through highschool they have a good relationship

4. He can make all of the throws that our QBs made in the O&W game.

5. Chaney wanted him the whole time for a reason.

and in other news ... Raijon Neal is the early favorite for the Heisman.

I'd like to see Nance redshirt this year, but if Simms or Bray gets hurt, that will likely be shot. Bray and Simms just have a huge head start.
