Nascar intends to break the NCAA

These numbers aren't good numbers to use.

Both 2020 and 2021 experienced long weather delays. 2020 was postponed til Monday, and 2021 didn't restart til 9pm and finished after midnight.

The 2022 number was about 8.9million. Still a drop from 2019 (last time it ran as scheduled), but nowhere near what you are implying.

They want to race on Saturdays instead of competing with the NFL.

Reggie Bush and Eric Dickerson were the celebrities for Nascar's opening event of 2022.

One had their heisman trophy repo'd and the other got a university the death penalty.

Should be interesting to see how it plays out.

College football would win out every day over redneck nascar.

Don't see this one testing well for the NASCAR. Might as well try to lock up Tuesday before it's taken.

So you’re telling us NASCAR is getting ready to learn that one thing the majority of their fans care more about than racing is college football?

Sounds like you were a real fan then?

I had alot of friends that liked NASCAR. Does that make me a fan? No it just means I heard alot about it back in the day, whether I wanted to or not. I only got interested when my brother in law, who loves Darrell Waltrip and hated Dale Earnhardt back when they were feuding, kept on and on about it, so I started following. And I started siding with Dale because I thought Waltrip was just being a whiny ass. Before? I really did not watch it much at all growing up. So I became, at best, a casual observer who still cheered for Earnhardt. But when Dale died in 2001? That killed what little I felt for NASCAR.

But to assume I was ever a real fan? Oh Hell no. And the odds of me taking a further future interest? Getting more unlikely as the years pass.
