I think criticism is fine. I don’t think they should have fans maligning their character over their basketball skills or facial expressions.

Everyone should feel free to say whatever they want. I think talking directly to players should absolutely be off limits. My preference is that we would keep it in this message board and not all over social media.

I do agree that keeping it contained here and not going into the player’s social media is preferable. Also, you are correct that everyone can say whatever they want on here. I know the players getting paid does blur the line on student athlete versus professional, but I just don’t think it’s serious enough to do all of that when sometimes people are only upset due to their outsized expectations.
