Nance or Bray?

I've seen Nance play twice this year, and he's not very good. He has a good arm, but most of his work is done by Rogers and some other white guy. I don't think he will play a down at UT.

Why? Just because he's thin?

You've got no reason to think he's injury prone.

Plenty of thin guys are successful. Manning was a stick when he showed up...I don't remember him dying.

Don't be a halfatard when it comes to football please. Bray has 2x the natural talent of Nance.

His weight will not be an issue, he is listed at 187 lbs, he has said himself that he is about 200 lbs, but before he sees the field, he will be ready, he could easily be 210-215 by fall camp.

Whereas some players (Jesse Scroggins, Peyton Manning) come into the college game near their ceiling, Nash Nance is entering where the sky is literally the limit.

This...Are you from Calhoun? That's the only way this can make sense...If you were from Lamaison's hometown would you have the same "Gut Feeling"?

So are you saying that we should take Da Rick's 5 stars + Nance's 2 stars and = Da Rick the first ever 7 star player.:)

Peyton Manning also played in a different era than the one today. You can run a pro style offense in the SEC, but you need a bit of speed because the defense's are so quick, and not every OL is a NFL prospect. Crompton, believe it or not, was pretty fast and considered quite mobile when he first came to the program.

Nance is good and every SEC team needs 2 QBs, but Bray is better right now and has more potential. With our young Oline and schedule next year, having 3 or 4 QBs is a good thing.

You have absolutely no idea who is going to do what so follow your own advice...I've seen 5 star qb's who couldn't get off the bench so unless you have a crystal ball you don't know who is going to do what...Bray has a lot of upside but I'm not counting my chickens before they hatch either

People wear blinders when they see somebody is a 2 star.

Step back and see Nance for what he is, a project with UNREAL potential.

This guy could be the savior of our program and you guys just continue to bash him. Sources close to the program indicate Nance has already been named the starter.

A lot of muscle...Unless hes gonna try out for goalposts he had better start eating steak everyday

Your a Vol in Miami....look at Jacory Harris...he is 6'4" tall and weighs 190 lbs. according to the U's website.....that kid is pretty good and doesn't possess the skill set out of high school that Bray does....the weight will come but the skills are FAR more important than the weight.
