GT and Georgia Southern cause I'm a fan of the triple option and I went to GSU. Also, I like to think GT may actually have a chance to beat UGA this year

I know we are all disappointed in the Vols this season.

Are you following some other team, trying to find some joy in college football this year? If so, who and why?

I'm following Texas Tech. I have a good friend I met through work, who turned me on to the Red Raiders. She's an alum. Tonight's cliffhanger victory over No. 1 Texas was awesome.

I'm curious to see which teams some of you might have adopted.

I've watched Boise St for several years and have actually been saying they're my second favorite team for the last 3 or 4. They're on TV a lot on weeknights, they win, and their offense is just fun to watch.

I've always liked michigan state. Mostly because of their mascot and they usually beat notre dame. But this year prolly oklahoma state. Lol but only because mike gundy. Might not be the best coach, but he is a man lol.

NFL- Titans

NCAA- I am originally from Jersey/Pennsylvania so I've always been a Penn State fan. The Vols have moved to my number one spot, but Penn State in a VERY close second. Luckily they're getting stuff done.

I'm going down with the ship, playing my violin on our way down. (Cue Celine Dion)

T Tech is fun to watch but Im not gonna put alot of stock in anything the Big-12 does till any team in that conference learns how to play some defense. In every big game I've watched this year in the Big-12, the total points have been through the roof.

As far as a surrogate team...nope.... not going there.

The Vols are and will always be at the top of my list but I also pull for MTSU since there is not much of a conflict with Tennessee. I also like to see Kentucky do well against the other SEC teams when they're not playing UT.

Im a Vol forever, but Id like to see Texas Tech light it up for the rest of the season, until the National Championship, where they get a BEAT DOWN from an SEC team. I also root for the 'Hoos(UVa Cavaliers) because I live in Charlottesville and dont really have a choice.

..I always pull for the Vols and the SEC but I must admit to watching most of the Texas Tech game last night. Our game sucked and that game seemed to last last forever and came down to the wire.
I also have a new found respect for the Cincinati Bearcats. The game thursday night was a good one played in a great college atmosphere....something we've lost contact with.

Still follow the Vols and the Jayhawks. KU still has a shot, though be it a long one, at getting into a BCS bowl (even though they are most definitely a December-caliber bowl team this year).

I will be happy when KU beats Mizzou at Arrowhead in a few short weeks!
