Name some Vols you played with or against in high school.

I didn't get to play on the same team with any Vols in H.S.

But,
I sacked Corey Fleming (Stratford) in a scrimmage.
I got run over by Mose Phillips (Hillsboro) , even though he didn't even weigh 200 lbs. back then.
I ran away from Duane Dotson (Hendersonville) when I saw him coming towards me.

I played against future vol Brandon Warren, Dustin Lindsay, and Rae Sykes, and maybe future vol Brian Sommers when we played Alcoa the last few years. I also played against Josh Hawkins at Loudon the last few years.

I played against Brandon Warren, Dustin Lindsay,Rae Sykes, Demonte Bolden, supposed to be vol Demarcus Stevens... i played with Cory Anderson and Anthony Anderson one year each, Cory was a senior when i was a freshman and i was a senior when Anthony was a freshman

I went 2-2 with a walk against Craig Cobb. Tony Delmonico was also a freshman on that team.

my son is playing for him this year at hillwood.

As a sophomore had the duty of guarding Cory Anderson in basketball...that was a long night. Pitched against Jeff Lockwood...got him to go 0-3. I also had very little success against Aaron Everett in many plate appearances...If we get Brandon Warren, I played well against him, however that was basketball. Basketball against Everett and Hawkins as well.

Guys I played against in H.S. from the Memphis area:
Reggie Ingram-Hit like a truck.
Kendrick Jones-Could fly...scored 4 touchdowns in one quarter.
David Bennett-Toughest option quarterback I have ever seen.
Ronald Davis-Blazing speed. Only guy to run back a kickoff against us in 4 years.
Tom Hutton- Had a cannon.
Some of the best talent coming out of H.S. in the Memphis area during the late 80's to early 90's.

I played on the same junior high team with Robert Peace. I went to the same high school, but I didn't play football then.

I haven't played with or against any Vols except future Vol Antonio Bell.

But I have played with abunch of guys who went to other colleges like FSU, GaTech, UGA etc..

But, this past year when we played Lakeland...

We played against...

7 Future Florida Gators
1 Future Alabama Crimson Tide
1 Future LSU Tiger

All on the same team. :eek:hmy:

Yes they were scary :)

But we only lost by 11 on the road against them in the playoffs. So not too bad.

He was good last year.
Ive moved now so I won't be playing with him next year.

But against our rival Seabreeze with about 10,000 fans attending the game (Seriously) he made an awesome go ahead touchdown catch to finish off the undefeated regular season.

He made alot of big plays and he's pretty physical.
Id say he has huge upside for his senior year.

Bobby Majors and Phil Fulmer from Franklin County (Winchester, TN). Got creamed by Fulmer...on a trap play..what little I remember of it...

Spencer Riley who played at UT in football (bball)

Travis Cozart who signed with UT in football(bball)

Shay Coker who played at UT in baseball (played on the same bball team as him in high school)

I played an AAU game against Tony Harris, Charles Hathaway, and CJ Black.

I played against Gerald in practice, lol.. I put on the pads a couple of times.. Although My fat ass never juked him I did give him a hell of a stiff arm once and then carried him about 10 yards on another play..

well when Gerald makes it to the Pro Bowl one day or is the MVP of the Super Bowl u can always say that u stiff armed him lol :)
