Little Man - Morristown West (ran all over us in the first round. We were undefeated and #1 in the state and went home)
James Bates - Went to UF - Seiver County
Riverdale team - Fernado Byrant and a few others that went on to play D1

Teddy Gaines was freshman @ DB when I was Senior
Aaron Fergason - all american Marshall
Shane Pierson - went to UNC

I had the pleasure of guarding Gerald Jones, Jonathan Crompton and Ryan Karl (not all on the same team) while playing pick-up basketball at the T-Recs

He caught me with a forearm under my face mask and threw me back several yards and hardly broke stride. I remember all I could do was look back while laying on the ground and hope that he didn't make the tackle. He didn't, then I had to figure out what sideline was mine, but I spent the rest of the game hoping that they didn't score so I didn't have to do that again. Luckily they didn't. It was a rough way to start the season.

I've played a lot of Street Ball with Scotty Hopson...

I used to live Next door to Dan Langhi ..even though he went to Vandy (He is a Huge UT fan BTW)

He is not a Vol, but I played against Julius Jones in HS. He went to Powell Valley, which is a rival school to my High school J.J. Kelly.

I (Bartlett High School) played against Al Wilson (Jackson Central Merry) in 1995. I never went up against him but I remember a teammate of mine holding on to his ankle for dear life!!! lol Al drug him about 20 yards after initial contact and my teammate's helmet kept smashing Al's Achilles tendon down the field!!! HAHAHA!

He was a MAN playing against boys!!!

Played against Abreyu Franklin(sp) SHill , Teddy Gaines D-B, Dustin Moore G'ville, Gerald Sensabaugh D-B (went to UNC), The great Jason Witten Eliz., Vince Redd Eliz (UVA? or UNC? can't remember) Shawn Witten (VaTech) Eliz, played with Kevin Shipley (walk-on at UT) Sull South

I played bball with Austin Rogers in high school. Played AAU ball against Dane Bradshaw throughout middle and high school. Got to practice a few times in AAU with a team a year older than me that consisted of CJ Watson, Stanley Asumnu, Boomer Herndon, and Jon Winchester. Also not a Vol but Corey Brewer of the gators was in my high school's district. Gotta be honest, didn't think that he'd go on to be in the league based on his play in high school. Wish him the best though.
