How often do the big names pan out anyway. Utah did pretty well this year and when do you see them in the top 10 of recruiting? It is about who finds the talent within and develops it to the highest level. I am happy given the circumstances of our off season. Let's not sink the ship just yet.

Im just curious, since you're so in tuned and all. So what should have been the masterplan for the tennessee football program? I was pulling for Johnny Majors coming back and Lee Corso being our OC but tell me what was you're masterplan?

CLK and his staff have a few weeks to recruit kids to a team that went 5-7 last year while other staffs have had over 1 year building relationships, taking to games, working with in camps, etc…… I am not disappointed.

But BPV, what happened to all the "perceived" excitement and energy that LK "supposedly" brought back into the program?

We didn't beat them. They got 8 more mediocre recruits than we did.

MSU - 29 recruits
Vols - 19 recruits

Given the fact we got much better talent and a higher star rating with 10 less recruits it really isn't close. I am sorry your hero Fulmer cannot swoop down with his cape on and save the day for you. Lord knows he has sucked the life out of the program except for fulmerites like you. By the way last year your hero came off a 10 win season and posted the 35th best recruiting class and been building relationships for years. Kiffin came in and in 2 months with no relationships with recruits or half his staff with only a full staff for 3 weeks, pulled in a top 25 and there are still several recruits waiting that could place is top 10. I know that probably stings but no worries I am sure Fulmer will kiss your boo boo and make it all better. I bet you loved him taking his little jabs at TN today on CBS.

I was a Fulmer supporter for many years, but it was time. I hardly think LK has had a chance to be critiqued on his coaching ability yet.

I have a friend who lives in Paris, TN. He was irate when Kiffin was hired. "He has no loyalty to Tennessee", he said. He was the definition of a Fulmerite with his picture and all in the Webster Dictionary. Well today I'm happy to say that he sees the light. Pulling Teague is really all it took. He realizes now how stale UT really became.

Again......Fulmers gone. Over. Done. The only ones bringing PF up now are those looking to excuse the incompetence of LK.
