good job man. I am just got in the CRNA program at UTC. It is a great career and you can make a ton of cash at it. Get your BSN save the time and trouble. Then get your two years of ICU and keep on truckin. You can be making 150K your first year out and only be 25 or so. Good luck.

Cool. If you stay in Chattanooga, you'll get to work with Sally Vega, Matt Vargo, Pearline Bulls, Sheila Hicks, Julie Harr, Paula Babb and some others I know.

Those names sound familiar. I have only met the staff once and I havent met any of my classmates. How you know them?

i got one. can't stand it right now because i lost a bet over the super bowl and i have a peyton manning background for a month. don't bet w/ girls.

They all work with my wife, who plans on going through the same program as you. She has a BSN and a B.A. in Biology. She's an Orthopedics RN at Memorial right now, but she's been an RN all over the hospitals (Erlanger, Memorial) the last 10 years. She would still have to go back to Critical Care and brush up for a year, though. The people I mentioned are all good people. The lowest any Nurse Anethitist (sp) makes today is $88,000/yr, or somewhere in that range. I'd say the average in Chattanooga is probably between $100,000-$150,000/yr. That's what I would have done if I had to do it all over again.

Jason good luck to you and your wife. I am really excited about going and Eralnger was my #1 choice. My wife and I are headed down to Chattanooga saturday for some school stuff and to look at apts. Anyplace good to watch the game in Chatt (I hear Buffalo Wild wings is good)?

I usually go to the Mellow Mushroom on Broad St. (right in front of the Aquarium). They have a large wrap-around bar with alot of televisions, hundreds of beers and good prices.
