UT clearly has more issues right now that we'll ever find solutions for, but one stood out to me yesterday: Ainge made some horrible throws in big situations.

Near the end zone he snapped off some awful looking ducks and missed receivers with consistency, from all angles. Additionally, the 4Q decision on 4th and 7 was as freshman-like as it could have been. Danielson made some excuse about the finger when he has to react quickly, but that was just pitiful. Looked like he was afraid he might get hit.

If we're in the position that the best QB we have is one who hands off backhanded with his left and that we can expect 20% of his passes to go anywhere besides where intended, we can expect to lose many more again next year.

It was lost before pinky gate.In the preseason when phil was blowing smoke up everyone's butt about being more physical and better at stopping the run.Neither of which happened.

Also all that crap about getting out of the box and implementing some plays that might actually seem in place in the modern era of CFB. It was implemented with lucas talyor running an option with ainge in as blocker 3 yards from the goal line

I always try to look for the silver lining in a loss, something that shows some hope or improvement, or maybe an indication that just some tweaking is necessary here or there to get things back on track. I have to say I saw nothing in yesterday's game. It was bad in every department.

I think Ainge is a good QB when he has plenty of time but pressure tends to rattle him and reduce his perceived options to a dump pass to an RB who has released his man and throwing it OB.
