NM just doing family time and round 2 research on sandy green bottom's beast mode transformation. Bought to purchase new beefed axles and gears.

You'd appreciate this Rong I'm about to start working on addIng a ford 8.8 rear end, an HP D30 in the front with 5" lift with long arm kit and 4.88 gears. When done we'll have to do a wheeling trip.

What im talkin bout man! Did someone recommend the 4.88? Prolly best gears for that jeep since your gonna be muddin

You could do the cab chop for 35s bts alot of cuttin. Looks goid when done but not worth it imo. I had to do a bit of cuttin and mine still rub but only turnin on a hill or somethin. Id say 33s would be perfect

It'll be a little over geared but for what I want it should do great. Likely I'll wind it out @ 70-75mph with 33s but it isn't a daily driver and I have no desire to run 75 on 5" lifted jeep. I didn't pick those gears just getting a steal on some already built axles.
