2. Kiffin - Never thought I would say that, but he is an offenseive genius. He will need a great DC
3. Petersen

I might put Strong at the top of that list. He did well at Louisville and has built a very good team at USF in a short time. Don’t know what happened at Texas. Whoever coaches there seems to have problems. Wealthiest public university, great recruiting area - the big mystery is why they aren’t in the top 5 every year.

He hasn't "built" USF into anything, he's maintained (underperformed?) what Willie Taggart legitimately built over there.

I gotta lot of love for Chuck, I really do, for obvious reasons...But he lucked into Teddy Bridgewater, and that made him seem like a competent head coach when he really isn't.
